About the Project

“SOS - Save Our Seas” is a youth-based empowerment project: hosting a marine plastic poster competition & workshops aimed at high school students in one respective high school to raise awareness in combating the ever-growing menace of marine plastic pollution and social media awareness activities.

Project Abstract

This project aims to tackle marine plastic pollution through workshops on marine plastic awareness & poster creation, and a poster exhibition by students that offers a dynamic approach to raising awareness and engaging our community in addressing the plastic waste issues in our marine environment. By empowering individuals to become advocates through creative expression, we can amplify our efforts to protect our oceans and preserve marine ecosystems.

Strategic collaboration is requested to support the successful execution of the poster competition, which includes student engagement, assistance from the school during the competition procedure, and approval of consent for students’ participation in the activity.
